Job Description

1. Sales:

  • Targeting new business opportunities to maximize revenue for Alba Thanh Tan Hospitality
  • Observing the market, identity trend and monitoring main competitors.
  • Developing relationships with Vietnamese High-end customers, VIP, Government officers to generate sales volume
  • Developing and continually enhancing relationships with potential business partners, key corporate accounts, diplomatic and association accounts, Travel Agents and Tour Operators' accounts (TATO)
  • Collaborating with marketing team, create and execute marketing plans in order to promote product image and awareness.
  • Investigating, handling guest complaints and providing information to General Manager and relevant Department Heads at once.

2. Leadership:

  • Being in charge of training and supervising of Alba Thanh Tan Hospitality’s sales team.
  • Leading sales team to execute sales plan and achieve revenue targets.
  • Establishing an effective sales call cycle for key customers, partners and contacts.
  • Overseeing, providing clear direction to sales team and managing their performance in order to maximize the full potential of the staff.

3. Management:

  • Working with management board to develop strategic sales plan, propose innovative ideas to increase Alba Thanh Tan Hospitality business.
  • Assisting General Manager in creating the Budget for the following year.
  • Analyzing and preparing relevant data for managing sales activities.
  • Preparing and managing sales budget, forecasts and attainment of revenue objectives. 
  • Maintaining an open line of communication and harmony among departments.
  • Liaising with other department heads to ensure the smooth-running of business plan and actions.

4. Other tasks: as required and directed.

Job Requirement

  • A minimum of five years hotel/restaurant sales experience and an excellent network of contacts are required to succeed in this position.
  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management would be an asset.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • An enthusiasm and a passion for sales and a drive to succeed.
  • Open, flexible and approachable.
  • Maturity, excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven skills in sales/deal-making, project management and implementation
  • Strong in client connection and client services.
  • Ability to interact with and influence multiple sales channels.
  • Sound knowledge of managing and developing staff.
  • Sound knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
  • Must have high energy, be organizationally agile, and have the ability to transform concepts into action.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications.
