Job Description

Retail managers are responsible for the day-to-day running of stores or departments. The aim of any retail manager is to maximise profit while minimising costs. Retail managers ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards, staff are fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer care standards are met.


  • Together with the COO prepares the annual sales budgets for each boutique
  • Prepares the buying budgets for each store with the Store Managers and work together with
  • COO to fix this
  • Develops the Buying Plan with the Store Managers and COO
  • Supervises the actual buying process working closely with the Store Managers

Commercial Management / Sales

  • Monitor closely the sell through results and develop action plan to achieve targets  
  • Prepare meaningful monthly sales report, highlighting problematic areas, offers recommendations and ideas on improvements and follow up on all action plans in a timely manner  
  • Maintain a high level of service in the store while respecting all the Brands commercial policies with respect to exchange, discounts, repairs, and other after-sales services
  • Conduct regular store visits meeting with sales staff and feeling the pulse of the business  
  • Conduct periodic meeting will all Store Managers to communicate and share on the progress of the business
  • Initiate stock efficiency and stock accuracy
  • Ensure that appropriate merchandise is bought and kept at the appropriate stock level at all times  
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales and inventory with each Store Manager to make suggestions on reorders or movement stock  
  • Observe and discuss with the Store Managers any necessity to take action on shop maintenance  
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Communication to ensure stores are kept up to date on all marketing activities  
  • Maintain close contacts with top tier customers  
  • Ensure that the attitude of sales staff in the boutiques is always friendly, welcoming and helpful; ensure sales staff have in-depth knowledge of all product ranges; ensure sale staff are trained in the necessary skills to enable them to handle customers effectively and to maximize the sales opportunities


Job Requirement

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree / MBA in Luxury Good / Fashion / Retail.

  • Study abroad is an advantage

  • Excellent at English ; French is plus point 

Work Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience, including 3 years in similar position.

  • Strong understanding of retail in luxury fashion environment

  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

  • Confident and dynamic personality.

  • Strong creative outlook.
